I was reading through comments on my "Future" post and I am wondering what everyone would like to cover.
Rachel said she would cover music.
I want to cover things that aren't breaking news anymore but people should remember.
Raise awareness.
Its a small minded goal.

After taking this class and talking with some science writers, I think that I'd be more interested writing about science rather than news.
ReplyDeleteI've always loved both science and writing and am glad I've found something that can combine the two so seamlessly. I have to do more research on the career, but I'm glad to have discovered a place to start.
No matter where I end up going to school, my home will always be NY! So I'm hoping to find a job in NYC eventually.
I'd like to cover the NBA and be a sports analyst. Since sports is my passion and I like writing about sports it seems to suit me.
ReplyDeleteIt would also be pretty cool to be a reporter on local news and do small breaking news stories for my community.
I would personally love to cover entertainment new, mainly because I love watching shows like Entertainment Tonight, Showbiz Tonight, and Access Hollwood. I would love to be one of those journalists interviewing celebrities on thier lives.
ReplyDeleteI also secretly wouldn't mind being a sports journalist too, Jonahtan. I really have a passion for sports, but I just think I would be extremely too biased towards certain things :)
