Birthday Love

Hello Everyone,

Turning a whole year older can bring great excitment and laughter into ones world in a blink of an eye, and everyone has their own definition of a perfect birthday celebration.

Mine would be just to be surround by all my closest friends and family memebers and enjoy a great day in the sun. My dram actually came true, even though i was forced to be on the University of Marylands campus.

I receieved extra joy from numerous phone calls, emails, text messages, facebook and myspace messages. My dorm mates even sung me a happy birthday song at curfew.

So Journalism150 tell me your best birthday and how you would like to spend it?

  1. Sucks to be here, eh?

I really only have one other place I'd rather be, and I may, if but only for a few hours when I leave here.

I may get to spend a few hours with Devon my girlfriend when I leave, special, because it will only be the 4th time I'll see her in 2 years.

I'd really love to be with her, on my birthday, March 12, or anytime.

It can't happen that way really, but its a happy thought for me.

  3. The birthdays where you are surprised are so much better than the ones you plan out. I'm just glad to be surrounded by family and friends on my birthday, and I hope those of you who had your birthday during YSP felt at home here too!
    Happy Birtday! :)

  4. I hope you had a great birthday ;)

My best birthday was last year. My parents surpised me with front row tickets to see my favorite football team the New England Patriots. The only thing was that they weren't going to play in Baltimore or Washington because both teams played the Patriots the previous season. So, my parents drove me up to Massachusetts. We spent the night in a hotel and then went to see the game. When the game was over we drove home, but we didnt get back until like 3 in the morning, which was awesome. I will always remember that day because I spent it with the people I loved the most. Ohhh plus it was actually on my birthday too which made it even better!

  5. My favorite birthday was this year. I went out to dinner with my family. It was really nice and relaxing just to do something simple. Then my parents surprised me with concert tickets for the next weekend. My mom had arranged for me and my best friends to see a performance. It was really unexpected. I agree with Becky and say that the best birthdays are when there are surprises and you spend time with your family.

  6. First off, Happy Birthday!!

I am rather jealous, all of you have had fabulous birthdays and my last two were failures. On my 16th, I learned some bad news involving a friend and on my 17th I got food poisoning. You should all feel very lucky.
